I have a little entrepeneurship story that might have some ethical implications but was nonetheless innovated and ultimately harmless (for the most part).
At my high school growing up, lunchtime was a time of freedom and enjoyment for all students. Everyone was usually so hungry at lunch that a whole underground food market developed every year where kids would trade each other's lunch items to get more desirable snacks and foods. One of the most valuable lunch products on this black market was the 0.50 cent jumbo size Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate chip cookies. Everyone loved these cookies, and often times the lunch ladies at the front would run out before the end of both lunches. After learning this, I decided to buy cookies in bulk for myself and keep them in my backpack for myself later in the day. As time went on, other students would see me with a cookie later in the day begging for a bite and even offering money. Eventually I told a couple kids in my classes later in the day that I would sell them a cookie for a dollar if they really wanted a cookie that bad. At first only one kid succumbed to his desperation, the rest remaining prideful that they didn't need a cookie that was available to them just hours earlier at half the price. However, as time went on, kids realized they just couldn't resist eating one more cookie late in the school day, and eventually the money started rolling in. Eventually other kids copied my strategy, created new markets in other classes until the market was just saturated and it was no longer cool or valuable to have Otis Spunkmeyer cookies in 6th and 7th period. I am not proud that I took advantage of the supply and demand fluctuations of a cookie sold at school lunch, but nonetheless it was innovative and I learned from it.

Why did I enroll in ENT3003?
I am required to take this class for Innovation Academy. I have taken this class before but did not take the first month seriously and dropped the class. I hope to learn from my mistakes, take advantage of the rewards of taking the content seriously and testing new business ideas through discussion and presentation. I intend to finish the whole thing this time, like I would one of my Otis Spunkmeyer school lunch cookies.
